Bloggy Friends and German Goodies

I was featured yesterday on Kristen's blog Whiskey.Tango.Foxtrot. because I'm one of her sponsors!
I looooove stalking reading Kristen's blog.

She's an Army wife living in one of the best countries in the world.
Which one is that you ask?
Why, Germany silly! Duh.
Like, where have you been?!

I lived in Germany for three years and I try to go back to visit my parents twice a year.
I absolutely love Garmisch-Partenkirchen because it's located in southern Germany in the Bavarian/Swiss Alps. It seriously has to be the most picturesque little resort town that I've ever seen! Seriously.
Do you see how serious I am?!
It's truly amazing and I wish I could live there right now.

Anyway, one of the reasons I love Kristen's blog is because I get to read about her adventures in Germany and it brings me back to the memories I have of living there.
Plus, reading about people's lives in other parts of the world is just so fascinating, don't you think?!
And getting to oogle over their fabulous pictures is one of my favorite things to do, too.
Which reminds me that I need to quit being such a lazy ass and post about my time in Germany and share my pictures with y'all.

I promise I'll hop on that.
For now, though, I'll leave y'all with these beauties. :)

Now, go check out Kristen's blog and the other lovely ladies featured there.
I'm already a follower of Michelle from Mish Lovin' Life and Casey from We Took The Road Less Traveled. Seriously my favorite blogs to read! Love them!
{Casey lives in Germany too, and she's been recapping her big family vacation around Europe! I love her pictures!}
So do yourself a favor and go follow all of the girls featured.
You can thank me later.

Peace out friendsssss!

    1. Wow, what amazing job do you have that's taking you to Frankfurt!? How long are you going to be there? You should definitely try to make a trip to southern Germany if you can. And obviously I'm a little biased here, but try to make it to Garmisch! It will NOT disappoint! Or at least Munich. But Garmisch has the Alps. :)

    1. The first one with the beer was at the Garmisch Festwoche - which is the traditional festival that celebrates the town of Garmisch. The middle one is a few minutes from my mom's house... I was bike riding in the valley of Garmisch. And the third is in the old part of Partenkirchen. Garmisch-Partnekirchen is basically one town, but they used to be two separate distinct towns. In 1936, Germany was hosting the winter Olympics and Hitler made the two towns unite as one, and they've been that way ever since. Also, the main road, Ludwigstrasse follows the original Roman road that connected Venice to Augsburg. The towns have a LOT of history! It's really fun to learn about. :)
